Literally love this shop. It’s cute, it’s quaint, and really great. Rad might be the best way to describe it. If you are in the market for pins, patches, or sweet thrifted gear then stop by. It’s inclusive and queer friendly space open to all. Best part is it’s locally owned and operated.

finally made it out to this store and it did not disappoint. literally the cutest stuff in here. soo much to look at between all of the art, stickers, patches, ect. there are a bunch of spots for photo opportunities and they do pop ups and events here. also super friendly staff. highly recommend! street parking available

I love this little store so much - I’ve always ordered online from them as I’m from Long Island, but I’ve visited the storefront twice & have loved my purchases and experience both times. It’s clean, organized, and has a really good selection of trinkets and apparel (my favorite genres of items). Plus the inside is so CUTE. I’ll always make sure to stop here when I’m in the area!

Love this shop, you can find lots of cool pins, patches, and stickers, sometimes totes, and some of it comes from local artists :) Also the staff are always super friendly

What a gem. Fun gifts, local artists, awesome environment, tons of awesome LGBTQIA+ artists on display. Best selection of patches we have seen in awhile. Super friendly staff, must visit!

I have never been to the store but have ordered online a few times and just right now. The site is so easy to navigate. The vendors products are incredible. Whoever puts these all together has exquisite taste. I know my mom will love the witch pin. I wish I could shake all of your hands keep fighting the good fight. I will keep refreshing a hundred times a day on the new tab looking like a fiend. :-)

This place caught me off guard- in a good way. Strange Ways is tucked in behind the courthouses in New Haven, and I never would’ve expected a store with this much personality to be hiding there. I was drawn in by the bright colors and the wordplay, and once inside it kept getting better. The whole vibe feels like reconnecting with your childhood self- playful, bold, colorful, and a little weird in a way that works. If you love clever phrases, visual humor, and design that doesn’t take itself too seriously, this store is full of it. It’s also a fantastic spot for gifts, especially for those people who are impossible to shop for because they “already have everything.” They have a great assortment of patches, pins, stationery, and small gift items, and I appreciated that nothing felt generic or mass-produced. I ended up buying myself a sweater and a beanie (because obviously), and both were great quality. Pricing felt very fair... exactly what you’d expect when supporting a small, local business, without feeling overpriced. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. And surprisingly, parking wasn’t bad at all. I parked right on the street, fed the meter with some quarters, and had no issues. This is one of those shops that makes you happy you wandered off the main path a bit. I’ll definitely be back.
